FAIRY Tales

1.the fairy tales i have read were , cinderella, snow white ,and the three little pigs. all these stories are similar and have in common many things, most of the characters are animals or the story always begins really sad and ends happily ever after.their are many more characteristics that fairytales have in common  heres a list:

-.Story always begins with once upon a time ,once lonq ago.
-Begins really sad and ends happy.
-easily identified heroine/hero and villian
-ANIMAL or royal characters.
-Always a problem and it is always fixed.

PUSH & PRECIOUS

some of the characteristic i came up with can be applied to the movie/novel ,the story does not begin with once upon a time because it is not a fairytale its a novel ,it is more of a realistic type of story that many young people can relate to even though it is fiction.the story push does begin really sad and this characteristic may apply, it ends in good terms because precious was happy. Their is a heroine and a villian in every story, in this case i assumed that ms.rain was the heroine she helped precious throughout the story once she precious started to open up more and more to her about the problems she was having in her home.Mary and carl were precious parents and they were the villians in the story,because they abused precious for no reason at all.so some of these characteristics do apply to the story and some do not, sometimes it does not always end happily ever after.
